After gorging on wholesome breakfast we are going to start our journey from Govindghat (1828 mtr / 22 kms) and trek to Ghangaria (3049 mtr / 14 kms Trek). The trek starts from Govindghat to Ghangaria. Arrive at Ghangaria. Explore the natural beauty of the place. Here River Pushwati and laxman ganga meet at bhuyndar village. Enjoy camping on the river site. End your day with delicious meal from dinner.
After having the breakfast, we are going to trek along the Laxman ganga River. Witness the majestic views of Hathi mountains. We will pass through the dense forest and a lot of flowers along with River Campsite. This place is rich in flaura and fauna. A good place for birdwatchers and wildlife photographers. After a long day of trekking we are going to take rest and enjoy the finely prepared dinner.
Wake up and relish your breakfast. We are going to continue our trek from Samartoli to Raj Kharak. It takes around 5 to 6 hours to complete this trek, depending upon the fitness levels of the hikers. Witness the great view of Hathi and Gori Mountains. The trail is ascending and rocky. Keep the movement steady with a good foothold on the ground. We will reach the campsite in the evening and take rest. Relax under the night sky and savour your dinner with a brilliant atmosphere of Raj Kharak.
Rise early at 4 am and head towards the kak bhusandi lake. This is the highlight of our trek. Cross laxman ganga river. There are two lakes. First comes the Machi tal and then Kag bhusandi Tal. Machi tal look like a fish. From Kag bhusandi view the snow covered himalaya. Explore the local tradition and go out on an expedition. Return to the camp site for scrumptious dinnner meal. Overnight stay in Kak Bhushandi Tal.
After a hearty Breakfast we are going to descent to simartoli. Don't try to rush through the trail. The journey downwards is easier and fun.
Heading back to Joshimath after a refreshing deliocious Meal ,drive to Joshimath. If you have some spare time, you can tour Auli or Badrinath. Check in a hotel on arrival and stay overnight there.
