Tirthan valley Location: Tehsil Banjar Kullu, Himachal Pradesh, The entry point to the Great Himalayan National Park, Tirthan Valley is located 50 km from Kullu. and 506 km from Delhi
How to Reach Tirthan valley By Air: Nearest airport: Bhuntar (54 km/ 2 hrs).
By Rail: Nearest railhead: Chandigarh (279 km/ 7 hrs).
By Road: Route for self drive: Delhi – Ambala (188 KM) – Chandigarh – Roopnagar (282 KM) – Kiratpur – Bilaspur (371 KM) – Mandi (440 KM) – Pandoh – Aut (481 KM) – Larji – Gushaini – Tirthan (511 KM) Drive up to Chandigarh and then follow Chandigarh-Manali NH21 to Aut via Mandi. After reaching Aut, take the right exit road just before the Jawahar Tunnel. Reach to Larji T-Point then take a right to reach Sai Ropa then drive straight and you will reach Banjar then take the U-Turn towards Nagini village(Tirthan). From Aut It will take about 1.30 Hrs to reach Tirthan. The route for Bus: Take a Bus from either Delhi or Chandigarh. Buses generally leave for Manali from Delhi in evening in between 5 PM. to 10 PM. After 12 hours of overnight journey In the morning around 6 AM to 8 AM you will reach Aut. At Aut just before Jawahar Tunnel get down from the bus and take a cab or Local bus for the above-mentioned route.
